[FROM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] December 20. Christmas Day has now drawn to close. The weather was all that picj and pleasure parties could have desiree the sun was shining brightly; but *] gentle breeze that was blowing kept f) heat from being oppressive. The Pigeon Match, got up by J) Campbell, was the only thing of inters in our rising township during the da It was advertised to commence at 11 a.n but owing to competitors not corht forward it did not take place till nearlj o'clock in the afternoon. There was very fair attendance, and the shooti was really good. The result was follows : The first sweep of L 3 was won by J| J. Craig. The second sweep of L 4 fell to J Walter Josling. The third sweep of L 3 fell to Mr. J. Campbell, Ngapara Hotel. Toward evening some of our local u were practising for the games that ta place to-morrow, which I have no don will, as usual, be a great success.
