(from our own correspondents.) London, Nov. 25. The Atlantic steamer Pomerania was suuk through a collision of Folkestone. A hundred persons have been drowned. November 26 (noon). The Khyberers have risen against the Ameer. Jellahabad has been abandoned, and the Afghans are flying to Cabul. November 27. The Ameer has released Kabob, but is disinclined to come to terms with England. The Russian mission has returned to Herat. The danger of the situation is increasing. England has demanded from Russia an explanation of Kauffmau'g speech on the Afghan difficulty. The Russian Embassy has gone from Cabool to Herat. Sydney, November 28. At a meeting of merchants it was decided that the strongest practical resistance should be offered to strikers on the part of the A.S.N. Company.
