MELBOURNE GRAIN MARKET. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited), reports, under date, Melbourne, Nov. 6", as follows : There is no change in the grain market. Business very dull, consequent on the race meetings. Oats continue firm, and good prices are still obtainable for any prime uamplos. For feed we quote os 3d to 5s 4d, and for milling, 5s 4d to fis od. Barley— Notwithstanding the arrival of the Gustav from San Francisco, this grain is still in great .demand, and for prime samples 8s o'd is still to be got. 'Wheat, dull, at os to 5s Id. Bran, js Id to Is Ud. Flour, LlO 10s to LlO 15s. A shipment of Californian oats was offered for sale by auction, but biddings not coming up to tiie importer's views, the greater portion was withdrawn. After the sale a portion oi the shipment was sold at 5s Id. The quality was not first-class, being thin grain.
