ATTOTI: >NKKR. ■' R IiPORTS. Mr. A. H. Maude reports that he held a Hale of horses, cattle, farm implements, etc., at Whitstone, on Tuesday, on account of the Hon. R. Campbell. There was a very large attendance, and spirited biddings for all the lots offered : 10 draught mares realised L 1298 10h, being an average of rather over LBl per head. The bay filly Gipsy Queen, ;i years old, by Surprise, out of Maggie Lauder, by Prince Charlie, imported, was knocked down after a very brisk competition to E. Menlove, Esq., for the sum of LSI. The yearling draughts fetched iVom LI 5 to LC2 each. Three of the best fillies, unfortunately, had such bad colds that it was thought iK-t advisable to offer them. The implements fetched excellent prices, the seven drays varying from Lib ;>s to Ll9 10s. The double-furrow ploughs, from Ll7 15s to L2O. The harness, etc., fetched full rates. A reaper, bv Reid and Cray, L 25. Patent drill, L.'iS 10s. The threshing machine and engine, and a Wood's reaper and binder were passed in.
