Dick, arrived in port from Wellington yesterday ; with a general cargo. i . j The schooner Isabella Pratt arrived from Napier yesterday. The schooner Clyde, Capt. Bishop (late ol , tVio Qarron), came into port from Bateman 3 Bay yesterday. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, October 16. Capt. Chevalier, last night, after tho alight mishap to tho Zcalaiidia, wrote & letter to the agonts, stating that the occurrence was nothing serious, that tho pilot was in no way blameable, and that the steamer touched the mud through difficulty of slewing round the stern of the vessel against the strong tide. The occurrence merely caused an hour and a half's delay beyond the advertised time for the advertised time for the departure of the steamer. Wellington, October 16. The following is ft copy of a telegram which naa just been received by Messrs. Bethune and Hunter, Lloyd's agents, from Capt art Bendall, Marine Sui-vryor, and Captain Sellars, Commander of the Zealandia, dated Otaki, 16th October. 9.15 a.m. " Surveyed stranded barque Felix Stowe, no chance of saving her ; people now employed saving gear and stores. Recommend the sale as quickly as possible. Melbourne, October 10.
