The B.a. Waitaki, Captain Edie, arrived in port from Dunodin yesterday eveumg, •with 11 passengers and 3 r > tons ot cargo. Tho brieantino Lapwing, one of the vesaul. recently stranded at '1 imaru passed this port on Saturday en rout-, for Fort Chalmers, to be docked and repaired. She was towed down by tho atoamtug Koputai which left Port Chalmers for that purpose on Friday evening. They both arrived at their destination yesterday. wli _ 0 The schooner Pelican has finished loading and will probably sail for Wellington to"ThTbarquo Aikshaw will finish loading to-morrow morning and probably take her departure ou Wednesday.
