NORTE OTAGO RIFLE ASSOCIATION.
The opening match of the season -was finished on Saturday afternoon, when some excellent scores were made; in fact the shooting throughout was really excellent, more especially when we consider the fact that the season is only commencing. The ranges were 200 and 400 yards ; seven shots at each. Wimbledon targets, in any position. In all 31 competitors fired, comprising 4 members of the Oamaru Artillery, 12 members of No. 1 Company Oamaru Rifles, 9 members of No. 3 Company (Otepopo), 2 captains of the cadet corps, and 4 private members of the Association.
