The En,, oys have intimated to Turkey that probably another Congress will be held on the basis of the non-fuliUinent of j the Congress Treaty. Turkey has definitely refused the cessions to Greece granted by Congress. Lord Chancellor Cairns has been created an Earl. The Austrian troops have suffered another severe reverse in JJosnia. Turkey refuses to be coerced by the Congress Treaty, but is wijling to adopt anv English proposal. Hawdon b&afc Sadler on the Thames easily. Eliott beat rtiggins in the first heat for the Sportsman's Cup. Sydney, September 17.
