(from our own CORRESPONDENT.)''! Dunedin, September 14. The following cablegrams appear in the Dunedin Star : Sydney, September 14. The Johan Cezar, from New Britain, reports that five Wesleyan native Missionaries were massacred by the Bush natives ten miles from the Malicolo Coast, with spears and clubs, and afterwards eaten. The Rev. Mr. Brown, in conjunction with the traders and coast natives, attacked the murderers. There was severe fighting, lasting the whole day. A large number were k ;:ed and between 70 and 100 were wonni..:d.

Another attack was made by the Duke of York Islanders on German traders, who retaliated. Three natives were killed. Frank Kerwin, a Sydney trader was murdered, and two other Europeans are dead.
