AUCTIONEERS' REPORT. Messrs. Connell and Clowes report having | sold on behalf of Mr. A. H Maude at the Swan Yards, in the estate of J. Gdchrist— Draught Horses and Daiay Cows. The attendance was good, and all the lots submitted fetched full rates. DUNEDIN. (From the Daily Times.) In the grain market there is no change to report. Wheat is dull, and only prime .ample* are saleable at 4s 3d to 4s 4d; ordinary we quote 3s lOd to 4s Oats are acarce again, and command 3s 9d to 3s lOd for feed, and 4s for milling. Barley for maltinz is in good demand, but prime samples are very difficult to get, and are worth 5s 6d to 6"s; medium we quote 5s to 5» 3d ; milling, 4s to 4a M. Oatmeal remains at 120 per ton. On Tuesday last Messrs. M*Landress, Hepburn, and Co. held an auction sale of general merchandise, but the prices obtained for what lots were sold can hardly be taken as a criterion of market values.
