The s.s Waitaki, Captain Edie, arrived in port this afternoon, with passengers and cargo, from Dunedin. , The p.s. Samson, Captain Jones, sailed for Dunedin at the usual hour yesterday, with passengers and cargo. The cutter Nautilus arrived m port yesterday from Stewart's Island, with a cargo of timber. _ , The ketch Franklin Belle, Captain Bradshaw, took her departure for Dunedin yesterday afternoon, with a cargo of stone, ■hipped by Mr. G. Munro. tn« schooner IsabeUa Pratt came into port from Napier early this morning. The brigantine Oceola has finished discharging and is now taking in a cargo of wheat for Auckland.
SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Melbourne, August 12. The Underwriters' Association reports under date London, August 10, the arrival of the Pleiades, 90 days out from Ljttdton; and the Jessie Macdonald, saded July Sth, from Foo Chow for Wellington.
