Mr. L. Grant, formerly an hnfelkeepe; at Duntr. n, died somewhat suddenly at •hnt tip yesterday. From what we .en he deceased had been at Mr
.: ..ris' h<- )1 on Monday night, and left there for his home during the night, but at what time we do not know. About half-past six o'clock yesterday morning hi was found lyimj on the road apparently in a fit. Dr. Fleming was sent for and proceeded to Duntroon by the first train, but Mr. Grant died half-an-hour after tindoctor's arrival. A coroner's inquiry will be held by Mr. Parker at Duntroon tomorrow, at eleven o'clock.
