GUNPOWDER ANCHORAGE AT OAMARU.

(PER PRESS AGENCY.) Wellington, July .4. An Order in Council in to-night's, Government Gazette notifies as follows : 1. E., distance one to two hundred fathoms. 2. The landing place for gunpowder and other explosive substances or compounds shall be at the steps of the south end of the Macaudrew wharf. The magazine for the storage of gunpowd -r is situated 20Qi't. east of the landing-place aforesaid: 3. The following charges are fixed for the transport and storage of gunpowder and other explosive substances or compounds at the-port, of Oamaru'-.—Boating to aud from per keg or- package of 25lbs, 3d ; minimum e-hargo, 10* ; magazine charges—receiving, P 6l ' keg or-package of 25lbs or under, delivery, per keg or- package; per week, Id ; proportional charges for larger paokages!
