WAITARA.
July 3. Messrs. Shechan and Brown left Waitara this afternoon, en route for Parihaka, where they will interview Tito Kowaru. It is rumored this morning that Rewi has accepted tlie Government's offer to Imild him a house nt Waitara. and c;ive him a pension of LSOO per annum. It is not yet known if lie will accept a seat in the Legislative Council.
