A fatal accident occurred on Thursday afternoon to a wry old and veil-known Otago settler named Allan M. ! Master, of Saddle Hill. Ho was riding in company with a friend, and the accident happened while they were crossing the Brighton Bridge. The two riders did not draw up on approaching the wooden floor of the bridge, and it being wet and slippery both horses fell. M'Master fell beneath his horse, and sustained such injuries as to cause his death almost immediately. Messrs. Oargills. Gibbs, anil Co. are advised of the arrival Homo of the Jessie Headman. 011 the Bth inst.
