On the motion of Mr. Duncan, it was decided to call for tenders for metalling certain portions of road in the Pnpakaio district. Accounts to tho amount of L 1123 lis, (itl. were passed for payment. Mr. Craig sent in his resignation as a member of the Board for Otepopo riding, as he was leaving the district. Tt was resolved, " That the resignation, with an expression of regret at his departure. lie accepted." The Council then adjourned.
