The p.s. Samson, Captain Jones, arrived at the Breakwater at R a.m. this morning irom Dunedin, with twentv-seven passengers and 40 tons of cargo. She leaves again this evening for Dunedin. The schooner Tauranga, Captain Francis, came into port from Hokitika to-day, with a cargo of timber. She left; Hokitika on Thursd y nigh* la t. and arrived here at 11 o'clock thi* nn r-.i ns. tnvir>._' only ncupied eighteen days i>, tj ltf tri'> from Oamaru to Hokitika and brick, t-roludriu: the time occupied in unloading and load ng at Hokitika. She will commence discharging her cargo to-morrow morning. The schooner Crest of the Wave, Captain M'Lean. sailed for Nelson this afternoon with a full cargo of produce. The schooner Sway, having completed her loading and cleared at the Customs, will probably sail this evening for Manakan, with a cargo of produce. The schooner Elizabeth Curie will finish loading this evening, and wQI probably sail for Nelson to-morrow evening. The schooner Endeavour commenced taking produce on hoard to-day for Wellington. The brigantine Oceola i 3 discharging her cargo of coal pretty rapidly, and is expected to complete her unloading on Tuesday. She will then load with produce for Auckland. The schooner Alert will commence loading with produce to-morrow for Waitara.
