[from OUR OWX C< >KI- ExrONDEKT. J NEW PLYMOUTH. February 8. The Premier and party arrived in the Hinemoa, off Taranaki, this morning til 8 o'clock. The landing took place at 10 a.m. They were received on the beach by the Mayor unci the Reception Committee, and a large number of people, who cheered heartily. A large triumphal arch was erected, and the entrance to Devon-street covered with flags, and having an inscription, "Welcome. Sir Geo. Grey." It is understood that there was a conspiracy to cut it down last night oil the.part of some of. Major Atkinson's followers, but it was detected, and the arch watched during the night. The party drove to the Beach House, where the Ministers are staying. A banquet, will be given at 4 o'clock iivthe Oddfellows' Hall, which is beautifully . decorated for the occasion. The Hinemoa leaves for Wellington to-night or early in the morning. I
