All objections to the Silvorstivuni scheme having been removed, the Corporation have decided to memorialise the Governor in Council for power to carry out the scheme. Mr. Hislop, the late secretary of the Education Board, objected on principle to a dinner proposed to be given to him prior to his departure for Wellington.
