January 16. The Port Darwin land Hue is down since yesterday, near Alipe Springs. A deputation from Masterton waited upon Sir George Grey to-day requesting him to visit Wairarapa. During the last few days several altercations occurred in the Supreme Court between Mr. Barton and the Chief Justice. Yesterday, in the case of Gillion v.
