A fierce battle has taken place at Erzeroum. The Turks were completely defeated, and retired from town. Muhktar Pasha was wounded. November 12. Muhktar Pasha's retreat from E.zaroum is denied. The Russians were defeated there. Eighteen Turkish officers were shot at Detroitzoyan for cowardice. The Kars garrison of 12,000 men is in want of food and water. An earthquake has occurred at Adrianople. A decided faO in wool has taken place.
