The news per s.s. Whampoa is anticipated by the San Francisco mail. Creswick, the tragedian, and a variety Company are passengers by her. The Hon. J. Casey has been appointed President of the Paris Exhibition (so telegraphed). It is not true that he goes Home as Commissioner.
