FOUR FAILURES. July 17. At a meeting of Mr. Hamilton Ward's creditors, the liabilities were shown to bi L6SOO, the assets L7IOO. The estate is expected to pay 20s. iu the £. A deed of assignment in favour of the trustees was assented to. At a meeting of Mr. Sutton's creditors, the liabilities were stated at L 4733, and the assets at L3OOO. An assignment in favour of the creditors was accepted. At a nn-eting of Mr. Marks' creditors, the liabilities wore stated at L 2300, and the assets at LIOBO. The estate was assigned. July 18. Messrs. Barnett and Levy, proprietors Royal, have called a meeting of their creditors. Tne liabilities are stated at L 20,811, and the assets L 23.583 The Theatre block is credited at L 12,500. while the cost was L 14.000. The Banks are credited with precipitating a commercial crisis. The Rotorua has arrived from Sydney. and ';;aves again for Napier at six o'clock. The ship Great Brought on has arrived from London, after a passage of 93 days. She brings several passengers, all well. Her log records many beats of over 300 miles.
