AUCKLAND.
PARTICULARS OF THE WRECK OF THE MERA. July 15. The City of Sydney arrived this morning, after a fine weather voyage. Passengers for New Zealand:—Mrs. Harding, Messrs. Quick, Harding, M'Gibbon, Ferguson, Geer, Gulliver, Graham ; and 18 steerage. July 16. The Taranaki sailed yesterday with the San Francisco mails for the South. The Mera, of Oamaru, has been wrecked at Hokianga. The cargo was of baulk timber, and was insured in the Batavia, National and New Zealand Companies, for LSOO in each; The Hero has arrived from Sydney. The news is unimportant.
