GRAHAMSTOWN.
MORE RAILWAY AGITATION. July 10. A public meeting lias been held, and resolutions passed, to urge the construction of the Thames and Waikato railway ; also to invite the co-operation of the Waikato local bodies. A meeting has been convened by the Mayor, on requisition, to be held next week to consider the advisability of petitioning Parliament for the abolition of the gold duty.
