SITTING IN BANKRUPTCY. THIS DAY. (Before his Honor District Judje Ward.) IN RE ALEXANDER STEWART DAVIDSON. Mr. Balmer appeared for the bankrupt, and applied for liis final discharge, tiie creditors having passed the nec-ssary resolution in favour of discharging the debtor. Discharge granted. IN RE EDWIN FIRTH. Mr. Balmer appeared for the bankrupt, and Mr. Hislop on behalf of Mr. stead, one of the.creditors. Mr. Balmer applied for an order of discharge. Tue bankrupt was placad in the box, and was examined at some length by Mr. Hislop as to the particulars of ins business. Tue learned counsel also questioned t.ie bankrupt pretty severely iu reference to the disposal of certain property. His Honor ordered tbat the bankrupt's certificate be suspended for three years, and made an order taat a hor3e and blacksmith's tools, alleged to be tiie property of bankrupt's brother-in-law, should De sold for the benefit of the estate.
