[from otjr special correspondent.] Hokitika, Feb. 24. The fifth carbine match is finished. Rolleston, of Oamaru, won the range prize at 500 yards, with a score of 23. In the sixth rifle match, only the 200 yards range is completed. King, of Oamaru, made 25, and Harding (Oamaru) 24; several others scored 26. Including the fifth match the aggregates are— Richardson (Dunedin) 267 Harding (Oamaru) 258 Anderson (Clutha) 256 King (Oamaru) 253 Harding now stands second, and King third, in the aggregate for the Rifle Championship, with 252 and 278 respectively. The shooting is stopped for the present on account of the rain. The river is flooded between the camp and the rifle range. Both belts will likely be won on Monday.
