The Brigade held a meeting this morning, and decided that they could not compete with the Dunedin Brigade for the Ballarat Cup, but will inform them that they pre prepared to engage in a friendly contest for another cup) of any value fixed at from £5 to £SO. The Dunedin Brigade will be communicated with by telegram to-day, and if Dunedin sends precisely the same team as were at Ballarat, Wellington will not change the old team, but if the Dunedin team is changed, Wellington will select those who are thought to be the best men.
