The Provincial Engineer's report shows that, during the year ending March;" £95,000 was expended on branch railways, and £159,000 on roads, bridges, &c. THE CITY TRAMWAYS. The conditions of the tramways construction has been presented to the Municipal Council, and tenders ordered to be advertised for.
