Paiko heads the handicap, but he should be able to manage 8.13 over the seven furlong track. It is a big field but not a particularly good class one, the majority being more or less sprinters. However, another furlong should not make them out of breath. . Bold Front has some form and Malayan was unlucky at Levin, and he can go the trip. Maui is the right type for this distance, and she beat Arikinui and Llandudno, but 'Limited and Tenacre are not out of it. The coin is gong to come for Paiko and if he gets licked there will be much lamenting.
