BAKED POTATOES WITH BACON

CCRUB six potatoes of similar size very thoroughly; cut out centres with an apple corer. Put inside each potato a thin slice of bacon. Then wut potatoes on a baking- dish m a hot oven. Care must be taken to see that the heat is not enough to make the outer crust hf.rd, and y^t enough to prevent the potatoes becoming soggy and waxy. When soft and pliable they are finished. Serve with a garnish of parsley.
