Meetings In The j Offing The West Coast of the North Island will be the scene. of activities during the ensuing fortnight. THE Taranaki Club races on Thurs- : day' and Saturday of next week, and Charlie Webster will be on hand tp welcome those who could not make the ' trip, at Christmas. Quite good fields are engaged, m all events, the Cup having a particularly good representation, with Pegaway, Bright Glow, Seatown, Vertigern and Corinax at the head of the list. The -sprinters' are first class, and Paganelli will no doubt have a run on opening ,day to prepare him for the Stakes on Saturday. .7 In addition, Cimabue, Silvermine, Gr^at Charter, Lady Quex, Ridgemount and Richfield are m the handicap. .
