Trainer "Tom"
THE good feeling existing between Southland ' and Otago athletic bodies- was .cemented recently by the selection of G. ("Tom") Rodgers, of Invercargili, as official trainer for the Otago championship representative team which went to Wellington. -.., At the same time, the Otago Centre authorities knew what they were doing when they wrote out Tom's ticket for the trip to the capital. Not only is he fully versed m the physical points of an athlete's welfare, but his personality is such that he soon captures the confidence and friendship of all m his charge.
