-Will Get There
FOR oyer five years now, W. J. Gow has. held the position of chief postmaster at Auckland, and manfully has he worked to keep the public satisfied with the Post Office. Now, well-merited promotion has come his way m that he is to be acting Second assistant secretary at the head office m Wellington, where he will be i stationed during the absence of G. McNa'raara, his big chief, who is going to the Old Dart for a while. : Such a position is one that requires more than the average amount of grey matter to hold down, and the fact that it goes to Auckland's chief . postmaster is a sure indication of the esteem m which he is held by superiors and public alike.
