J ESLIE ALEXANDER „ TRACY, ** ("Tim" to his friends and., colleagues), solicitor arid for so lorig . a prominent figure m athletic circles, has now set up his brass plate and,: m conjunction with Horace McCormack, has comfhenced practice m Wellington. He received 'his early^ training for the law m the legal branch of the Public Trust Office, and later polished it off with a couple of years as managing clerk to Gray (K.C.) and Jackson. As an athlete, Tina Tracy gained great popularity, and his success as a runner is exemplified by the fact that he holds the Tasmanian record for 440 yards; Victoria College 220 yards and N.Z. Universities 220 and 440 yards. He still letains his interest m all forms of athletics and is secretary of the N.Z.A.A.A.
