The Glad Hand
NEW ZEALAND journalists of the old school are at present extending a glad hand to J. Shaw Thompson, proprietor of the "Dalby Herald," Queensland, who is at present on a visit to New Zealand. It is something like twenty years since J. S. Thompson was one of those men who produce New Zealand's news. Since then he has fought 'the good fight with such tenacity that to-day we find him a full-fledged newspaper proprietor. ' It is to be hoped that he goes back to his Queensland home full , of enthusiasm about New Zealand, and that, the columns, of his paper will be full of nice things about little' New Zealand. , '
