SMOKE-RINGS
Helping Eve On The • Artistic Side Jewellers long ago realised that any little foibles of woman -kind would make a good monetary proposition for them if catered for m - a manner showing discrimination and charm. W/HEN smoking became universal; they began digging m a gold mine of lighters, cases, and holders. An enterprising firm m America has put out a cigarette case, vanity compact, and lighter to mateh — all three In chased gold, with a diamond chip motif. Expensive, but so chic. A sophisticated looking little lighter is of black suede and marcasite, and another of black, white, and grey enamel. These both come under the heading of reasonably purchasable goods. A white enamel cigarette case, also Smoking Novelties coming under the heading, of things desirable and reasonably inexpensive, is of white enamel, decorated with v fascinating , Russian design, and another one is of blue enamel, with a design m pearls. Crystal cigarette holders are the last word for the woman who wants to keep the cigarette stains from her fingers, and black enamel is also one of the newest materials to be used for cases. One seen recently had "a crystal motif like a button m the centre of the top, and would be excellent for carrying with a tailored ensemble. Enamel and suede seem to be prime favorites for those dainty accessories for devotees of nicotine.
