Night Lad Appeals In The Plate
POOR CLASS
(From "N.Z. Truth's" Christchurch , Rep.) . If Dutch .Money, takes on the Middle Park Plate m preference to the Lyttelton iPlatei it will leave the way -well open for one horse. THAT horse is Night Lad, a good-, 1 looking youngster by Nightraid, owned and trained by Pat JBogan vatWash dyke. . . .;■ '. ::. With winning performances at South Canterbury, Trentham and Wingatui, Night Lad has proved the equal of some of the best two-year-olds m commission this season, and he is particularly well at present. Belcaire and Desert Song are the only other two m the field with reliable form, to guide the public. Of the pair Belcaire is preferred more. . • ■ Of those which have had previous racing, nothing is outstanding, and of the remainder they will require racing and experience before any guide can be obtained to their form. In a- very moderate field the honors should go to NIGHT LAD, BELCAIRE.
