LEARN TO SEW
jyjANY women, when they marry, and when family responsibilities come along, realise — to their pecuniary cost— that they are simply "duffers at sewing." Their lack of knowledge m this respect means heavy outlay on ready-made garments, which, had they learned the art of using a needle m their youthful days, would have been avoided. The result is that when purses are limited economies have to be practised — much to the detriment of the wardrobe generally and the annoyance of the enforced economiser. Happy is the woman who can sew and knit. For her there are lingerie luxuries that are denied -the woman who has to pay for everything ready-made.
