THOUGH she has travelled many countries of the world, Lady Alice Fergussqn never had the opportunity of flying until last week on the occa.sion of her visit to Christchurch. It was a calm morning with barely a puff of cloud or wind to mar the magnificent expanse of clear sky beneath which Christchurch shimmered m the sunlight. - Seated behind Captain J. L. Ffridlay, O.C. "Wigram Aerodrome, Her Excellency, accompanied by Miss F. DneViale, had a bird's eye view of the Cathedral City for fifteen minutes and on returning to the landing ground expressed herself as enraptured with the experience. • ■ -
