So far this youngster has been disappointing, but like his dam (Bronze) he probably will improve with age. # # * Tommy Long is hopeful that Cobham will run well m the Maiden at Wanganui. The English-bred gelding looks good enough for anything. # * # Royal Finance should prove worth watching at the Taranaki meeting. # # * Llanore made hacks of the opposition m the Waimate -Handicap at Hawera, but her backers lost their money through 4% lb. of lead having been forgotten m saddling up.
