NAME APPEALS
Tasty May Give Them A Taste (From "N.Z. Truth's" Special Auckland Rep.) There is something magnetic about the name of Tasty, and punters probably will be attracted." CHOULD a thoroughbred; boasting that appellation line up for the five -furlong- Waimung-u Stakes at Rotorua on Saturday, they may even be financially attracted. . The Stakes is for absolute maidens at time of starting, and is a weight-for-age affair, favoring any lightlyweighted two-year-old of promise. Tasty is one of .the juvenile age, and her real recommendation of promise is a third to Polyxena and, Royal Finance at Takapuna. That day no fewer than five winners of this season finished behind the Lord Quex — Blended filly. If Tasty does happen to miss this appealing opportunity at Rotorua 'to break her maiden status, Trig, Kiri, Red Lion, and Parfait Amour will be looked for to show up. Anyhow, the filly threatens to be a slippery young lady, and seems certain to catch the eye of the judge at no distant date.
