Useful Tip
COME horns are so made that it is impossible to oil the bearings of the armature without taking the instrument to pieces. This can be remedied by having two small holes bored m the body of the horn immediately above the bearings; These can then be oiled by means of a match stick. Small pieces of rag pushed into the holes will keep dust out. The writer has adopted this method with good results.
