(By Cable— From "N.Z. Truth's" Special Sydney Representative) The Lord Quex gelding, Gesto, added another failure to his growing list at Randwick on Saturday. He finished third m the Highweight to an indifferent field after making a good run at the home turn. Evidently Gesto is not training on as expected. • .-'..'.' Loquacious is following m the footsteps of her illustrious brother, Windbag. • The filly was never off the bit m the Adrian Knox Stakes over a mile and looks like developing into a great stayer. She has won four races within the last couple of months.
