ROYAL CHANCE

Free Advice and Gold Cup (From "N.Z. Truth's" Auckland Rep.) At meetings at Alexandra Park there is on occasions somethingsorted out that will keep for later on. OOMETIMES it is not on their forward running, but quite the reverse, while other factors give astute punters a lead. The local "heads" have a hunch that if Free Advice is produced m the Gold Cup at Wellington on Saturday, she will take all kinds of stoushing. It was at the Auckland summer meeting last month that she showed just how good she was when she cleaned them up m the Summer Cup. Prior to this event she went a moderate third m minor company and again after her slashing victory ran well below real form when the class was not select. There is a suggestion that we have not seen the best of Free Advice, but Saturday should tell the tale. Like others, the chestnut mare anpears to be able to tell the cups from the tin mugs.
