Since the inauguration of yearling bloodstock sales at Trentham during the Wellington Cup meeting, there has been noticeable a continual desire on the part of owners both m the Dominion and Australia to make reasonable offers for youngsters of breeding and promise.

AUSTRALIAN buyers jagain are likely to be represented, and with 114 well-bred lots figuring on the two main catalogues, irrespective of the supplementary lists, prospective purchasers will have a wide, range to choose from. The sires represented include Arausia, Black Ronald, Catmint, Chief Ruler, Diacquenod, Grandcourt, Greyspear, Hunting Song, Kilbroney, Lackham, Leighton, Limond, Lord Quex, Orby's Pride, Paper Money, Potoa, Psychology, Royal Divorce, Tea Tray, Thespian, Tonbridge, Valkyrian, Weathervane, Bachelor's Picture, Shambles, Paladin, Arrowsmith, Last Dart, Acre, Night Raid, Solferino and Some Boy 11. A bay filly sister of Episode and Honour is sure .to come under strict attention. Among others from G. M. Curries Koatanui stud" to be offered is a brother of the Derby winner, Agrion, also a sister of Commendation. The Chief Ruler lots are sure to be

sought after, if only because of the deeds of Supremacy, Eaglet, Dalston and other winners by John Donald's sire. The Chief Ruler youngsters to go under the hammer include a bay colt from Rosellate (same family as Gold Tinge), a filly from Marceline, a colt from Martianette (closely related to Oratrix), a colt from Silver Link (dam of Silvermine), a Gipsy Belle filly, and others.
