Rotowhero's Turf Days Over
It transpires that the Hon. T. M. Wilford's Rotowhero, which injured a fetlock at Trentham early m the week, was not destroyed as generally believed. At the time of writing on Tuesday every effort was being made to save the son of Gasbag. "■-.... As a matter, of fact, Owner T.M. and his family are greatly attached to the gelding and only recently a good offer was refused for Rotowhero. Even if Rotowhero can be saved, his racing days are over.
