Rapier, through lack of racing, was not nominated for the Wellington Cup', but will run on the second and third days of the Trentham -.meeting, following which he will contest the Dunedin Cup should his Wellington form warrant it. . . - v ;' . ■'•;. Silver Paper, which won the Dune-, din Guineas, lost his form at the Riccavton Cup. meeting, but registered an impressive performance at Awapuni m beating the Criterion and Derby winners, -Arrow Lad and Nightmarch, very decisively.
