Though Aspiring was taken to Awapuni and not started on account of the going, she is almost certain, to take her place m the field for the Wellington Stakes. .. UER early form this season was good for she won the McLean Stakes and filled second berth to Honour m the Welcome. -,'-,: , Her subsequent running, was not so good, but she is going great guns at Riccarton again, and is being prepared for the Wellington Stakes. ; In this event she will have the services of Jimmy Ellis, the southern lightweight.
