Weak Valve-springs Cause Lost Power
AFTER a car has done several thou- ** sands of miles, anything from 1! to 50, according to the type of carthere is a tendency frequently for power to fall away as scion as a critical speed is reached, and the machine will go no faster though the throttle be pushed still further down. . The general cause of this is loss of strength m the valve springs. The valves do not return to the seating quickly enough, so that power Is lost. The replacement of the springs by others of full strength will effect an immediate remedy.
